This is from the editorial in the newsletter of the Southfields Grid Residents' Association, which popped through our letterbox recently:
You'd be hard pressed to define a typical Southfields resident. Is it the Mum with young children? The twenty-something South African? The pensioner who's been here since the days of rationing? On a typical day you can see a mosaic of different races, faiths and nationalities, and hear any number of foreign tongues, from Chinese to Polish. You might even see a punk rocker or a Buddhist monk.Is it Chris he has in mind?
